What kind of life would you rather live: one full of exhilarating highs, or a contented middle ground, free of disappointment?
I suspect most astronauts would choose the former, while risk-averse nerds like me are bold for the latter. I ask because I find myself drawn to a series about an astronaut, a show of such varying quality that it both disappointed and amused me with twists.
